Syllabus 8693 had been replaced by syllabus 9093 (English Language). Its final examination series was Oct/Nov 2013. For newer past papers, you should specify the new syllabus code 9093.

In this case, y13 means the May - June exam in 2013. Other exam seasons can be expressed as:
- m13 means the Feb/March exam in 2013, but this subject dosen't have any.
- May/June exam in 2013: s13
- Oct/Nov exam in 2013: w13
- Specimen paper of 2013: y13
